I painted this poem on a 166 square meter wall in Roeselare, Belgium. Sign painters style with spray cans and acrylic paint. The poem was written by two teenagers (Twenco Margodt and Kayla Decroix) and glorifies seven specific qualities of the city. It goes from a beer brewery to the local volleyball team, a museum and some hotspots.
That's what gave me the idea of working in an old fashioned sign painter style. Mijn stad, mijn trots litteraly means my city, my pride.
